Detox Salad

This one is for the health watchers. If you’re looking for something light to cleanse you from the inside, this detox salad should definitely be one of your choices. It has veggies like broccoli, cauliflower and carrots that are filling, healthy and detoxifying. Quick to make, this recipe yields one flavorful bowl of veggies you’ll want to have again.


  • Broccoli                                   2 heads
  • Cauliflower                             1 large head
  • Carrots                                    3 large
  • Fresh Parsley                           1/2 cup
  • Pumpkin Seeds                        1/4 cup
  • Raisins                                    1/2 cup
  • Currants, dried                        1 cup
  • Lemon Juice                             1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt and Pepper                        To taste


  1. Add the cauliflower, broccoli and carrots into a food processor and pulse until you have a nice consistency. Do this in small batches if needed.
  2. Put the grated veggies in a large bowl add all other ingredients. Mix well.
  3. Then put the salad in the refrigerator for a few hours to enhance the flavors.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Serves: 2 – 3
